Well, I’ve discovered that you can get double edge razor blades in your local ‘fereteria‘ or hardware store.Who would have thought it? The little pack were Gillette Super Thins, made in Brazil.
It took me two years to discover this little fact, but it’s better late than never eh? I’ve been working out in Lima and have searched supermarkets and chemists the length and breadth of Miraflores and had given up hope of ever finding any.
Now you can travel light and then track down the nearest hardware store at your final destination and then continue to enjoy the sheer delights of DE shaving when you’re traveling.
In Miraflores this feretaria, Las Estrellita Hermanos, is located in Calle Schell right next door to the Metro supermarket. This road runs along the bottom of Parque Kennedy, so it’s really easy to find.
