Our penultimate day and it was one we didn’t want to waste just traveling out to our final hotel near the airport, so, with some nifty planning we managed to fill it with interesting things.
Back to Suwon station via a taxi from the hotel, our train arriving bang on time. Arriving in to Seoul Station we used the Airport Travel Service that offered baggage storage and we paid to leave our cases with them, paying KWN5,000 each for four hours of bag-less freedom in Seoul. While here we also picked up our Airport Express train tickets back to Seoul Airport from the adjacent Arex Ticket Office.
We headed back in to Seoul station and browsed the Lotte Discount Store, but ended up in the adjacent Lotte Market as they had two of our favourite shops, Muji and Uniqlo.
Shopped out it was time to take Metro Line 1 around to Jungno 5 station and a few steps later we were in the market looking for lunch at the same market stall that we’d eaten at a week earlier.
Having dined on Bibimbap, our last, we headed back to Seoul Station to retrieve our cases and catch the 4:00PM AREX train out to Incheon Airport. From here we caught the free MagLev train out to Yongyu where our final hotel was located, the Nest Hotel.
Nest Hotel was a bit of a blow-out, but it was our last night and it was very close to the airport for our early check-in the following day. Our room was stunning. Everything you could need and a view that took your breath away.
