Our last lazy breakfast sat up on the roof terrace in the Marrakesh morning sunshine, something that will stay with me for a long time. Enjoying the peace and tranquillity, listening to the bird song and hearing the city below us waking up very, very slowly.
Then before we knew it, we were back in the taxi and heading back to the airport, with crazy immigration queues and a very disappointing Lounge experience.

We had a good smooth flight back, navigating Gatwick immigration was a breeze as there was no queue whatsoever and having traveled with no checked baggage, we had no bags to collect, we were through the airport in a flash, pausing only briefly for a wee and to grab some dinner in M&S. Car park transportation was waiting outside and then before we knew it we were back at the car and on the road in really short time.
I think we managed to fill this gifted four day ‘gap’ really nicely and Marrakech was probably the furthest we could venture without eating in to the weekend by traveling too much. And Marrakech itself was a real delight and we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
