Our trip to Malaysia was most likely encouraged by my visits there with my job, staying in both Penang and Kuala Lumpur. Although there to work, I fell in love with Malaysia, the people, the food, the scenery, the weather all of it simply wonderful. Some of the places that I’d been lucky enough to visit on business I was desperate to share with Mrs Young and so, the school Easter holiday of 2016 we put together an agenda that on paper looked pretty crazy, but with Mrs Young’s usual precision planning in force, it all pieced together beautifully.
So here, over the next few pages is a potted history of our visit to Penang, Kuala Lumpur, the Borneo Jungle, Malacca and the rainforest of Seremban.
As the great Mark Twain once said… “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.”
