What can I say about the Langham Place? It’s a five star hotel. Somehow they manage to think of everything you might need before you can even contemplate that you might actually need it. (Now morphed in to a Cordis Hotel.) Hopping out of the taxi my case was taken from me by a bell boy, this joined me again later in my room, while I was ushered in to a lift that sped me up to the reception floor. Greeted like a long lost friend and given a cool drink while the formalities were handled, I was also presented with a courtesy iPhone for my personal use during my stay. My room was simply perfect. Amazing comfortable bed with luxury linen. Stunning views across the city with a window seat to enjoy them. Bose sound dock, for your courtesy iPhone of course. Nespresso machine with ample coffee pods. Well appointed bathroom with great toiletries. Nothing was out of place. Breakfast was vast and superb. Dinner too, although a tad expensive, was amazing. I ended up staying here because rooms were scarce in Hong Kong due to the Rugby Sevens tourament and it was also convenient for access to Mong Kok metro station to get me to work in the morning. Nice evening turn-down service with notification of tomorrows weather, sleep tips, small chocolate and a little gift too.
This hotel is simply stunning.
