Helsinki
As a destination, Helsinki kept popping up when we’d been searching for places to visit for another of our half-term ‘short breaks’. For a few years now it somehow kept getting pipped to the post by other European destinations.
But finally, having tasted a little of the Nordic-style hospitality, and the cold in Reykjavik, we decided it was time to finally visit Helsinki.
This is a brief recounting of our visit in the October half-term of 2016.
