Ecuador – Back to Lima

Ecuador had proved to be beyond anything we could have imagined, the people were warm and friendly, the scenery was simply stunning and spending time in the cloud forest had been wonderful, but today, we had to pack up and return to Lima.

After a wonderfully comfortable nights sleep we enjoyed our breakfast with our waiter being incredibly entertaining and friendly.

After packing our bags one last time, we once again walked the gardens enjoying the morning sunshine.

We took our lunch in the restaurant before taking the courtesy bus back to the airport and our flight back to Lima.

We were met at Jorge Chavez airport by our driver from Haku Tours who whisked us to our final hotel, The Lot Boutique Hotel in Miraflores. Our welcome at The Lot was warm and incredibly friendly. The hotel is small, trendy and in a quiet location. Our room was cool, large and well fitted out. Swiftly unpacking a few things we popped out in to Miraflores to enjoy and alfresco Pisco Sour or two at Cafe Cafe, a walk around Park Kennedy to visit the wild cats, followed by a cliff top stroll back to the hotel.
