Hi, I’m the ‘Mr‘ half of the Mr and Mrs Young in the title. Quit simply, we just love to travel and we do so whenever we get the chance.
The ‘Mrs‘ half of the ‘Mr and Mrs Young‘ well, she was a teacher, but she is now retired, so we no longer have to plan our holidays or adventures around school term times! We’re now free to scoot off somewhere new and explore anytime we fancy.
We have a list of places that we’d like to see, a ‘Bucket List‘ I guess, and we choose a name randomly off of this list and then look for how to get there and where to stay. We’re not ‘package‘ kind of people, much preferring to find out weird and wonderful hotels ourselves and get there on regular scheduled flights etc. We think it all adds to the adventure !!!
I am lucky that I also get to travel with my job too and have been to some weird and wonderful locations. So far I have had the pleasure of visiting Taiwan, China, Pakistan, South Africa, Peru, Sudan and Malaysia to name just a few. Some places I love. Some places I’m glad that I’m only visiting and some places, well, some places you should just leave well alone.
So, our aim is to post about places that we visit, hints we think might be interesting, and any tips and general travel tid-bits that we stumble across on the way.
